Crisis Ministries

The Precision Walls’ team in Charleston SC Gives Back to the Community!

In addition to donating metal studs to help expand the facility, the Charleston team has committed to cooking for the homeless at least once a month.  The team provides, prepares and serves food for the homeless individuals at the Crisis Ministries' Men’s shelter.  “It is a very rewarding experience for all of us and we plan on doing this one day every month, said Troy Morgan, general manger of the Charleston branch.

Crisis Ministries provides food, shelter, and hope to end homelessness and hunger one person at a time, one family at a time. Founded in 1984 out of a soup kitchen in Grace Episcopal Church, the shelter has evolved into a comprehensive service agency, dedicated to helping the homeless become self-sufficient again. Along with serving a daily meal to public, these services include emergency housing, case management, primary health care, legal services, employment services, and veteran services.

Crisis Ministries is the largest homeless service provider in South Carolina. Since its founding Crisis Ministries has served over 1,800,000 meals, sheltered over 37,500 people, and helped more than 6,250 homeless men and women become self-sufficient.
