The Hard Rock Theme Park project was featured in the Science Channel’s “Colossal Construction” program in 2009. With 42 separate buildings, 25 attractions, 11 restaurants, and over 10 different specialty shops, this was the largest single tourism investment in history for South Carolina. The final project cost exceeded $400 million and covered 55 acres.
