Precision Walls is pleased to announce that Rich Sula has rejoined the Triangle team as Sr. Project Manager for large projects. His background with Precision Walls and in the commercial construction industry makes him a great asset to the team.   

Precision Walls Earns Safety Award from US Army Corps of Engineers
Precision Walls, Inc. was presented the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers safety award for its work on the Pope Air Traffic Control Tower in Fayetteville, NC. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, presented Precision Walls with the “Sustained Superior Safety Performance Award” (Medium Subcontractor Category for the Third Quarter of 2012) on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, during their quarterly “Serious about Safety” luncheon. This certificate of achievement was for their accomplishment of quality construction while upholding the highest standards of safety performance in the construction of the Pope Air Traffic Control Tower.  Precision Walls was nominated based on factors including safety statistics, project complexity, hazards associated with the work, and the company’s safety program and policies. At the time of the award, work was 90% complete with zero lost- time accidents.   

Precision Walls, Inc. Earns Top Safety Awards From NC Dept of Labor
The NC Department of Labor’s Safety Awards Program recognizes companies throughout the state that achieve and maintain good safety records.  Precision Walls was recently recognized at the NC Dept of Labor’s (NCDOL) annual Safety awards ceremony in Raleigh for having an incidence rate at 50% below the national average for their industry. Ongoing employee engagement and commitment to safety at all branch locations resulted in Precision Walls receiving a total of five safety awards.     

Precision Walls Promotes Christensen to VP of Finance

Precision Walls, Inc. is pleased to announce that Matthew Christensen, CPA has been promoted from Corporate Controller to Vice-President of Finance. In his new position, Christensen will lead the company’s financial operations including accounting, financial reporting, and information technology. He will be responsible for all accounting, financial and information technology activities including: benchmarking, forecasting, cash management, risk mitigation, internal controls, billings, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Cochran joins the Triangle team as Sr. Project Manager
Precision Walls, Inc. welcomes Bob Cochran to its Triangle branch project management team as a Senior Project Manager.  With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Cochran brings a proven track record in building client relationships and developing new business. Cochran’s responsibilities as a Senior Project Manager for the Triangle branch includes all aspects of the project from pre-construction, contracts and budget control, to over-seeing the project to completion.   He has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, execution and closure of new commercial projects.   

Derrick Donegan Joins Precision Walls as Sales Estimator
Precision Walls, Inc. is excited to announce the newest addition to our estimating team, Derrick Donegan. As a Sales Estimator for the Tennessee branch, Donegan will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and establishing the estimated completion rate and progress related to new Precision Walls’ commercial building projects. He is committed to building client relationships and developing new business. 

Precision Walls Featured in AWCI’s Construction Dimensions
Precision Walls, Inc. is featured in the March 2012 issue of AWCI’s Construction Dimensions magazine. The article describes Precision Walls involvement in the construction of the 150,000 square foot NASCAR Hall of Fame construction project in Charlotte NC. Precision Walls was contracted to work on the hall’s interior/exterior light gauge framing, drywall partitions, and gypsum ceilings and finishes.    
 
Precision Walls Awarded 2011 GOLD STEP Award for Safety by ABC of Carolinas
Established in 1989 by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Committee, the Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program was developed and written by contractors, for contractors. It incorporates both OSHA required safety data with self-assessment requirements to give a full, wide ranging report on the entire nature of a company's Safety Program. It is an organized approach for analyzing and developing safety and loss prevention programs. All companies claim that safety is a priority; with STEP you can prove it. This is the fourth consecutive year that Precision Walls has been awarded this award.

Boeing FAB Project Wins ABC Excellence In Construction Merit Award
Congratulations to the Charlotte team for winning the ABC of the Carolinas Excellence in Construction Merit Award for The Boeing FAB-787 Dreamliner Plant Project located in Charleston SC. Precision Walls, Inc. was contracted by the Joint Venture Group of BRPH/BE&K/Turner to perform the drywall scope of work on the Boeing FAB Expansion project. Our scope included: interior light gauge steel framing, drywall partitions and acoustical and gypsum ceilings, soffits and finishes. This project began in August 2009 and was completed in August 2011.

Rocky Sizemore joins Nashville TN branch
Sizemore brings with him over 18 years of experience in the construction industry and extensive commercial drywall estimating experience. As a Sales Estimator for the Tennessee branch, he will be responsible for establishing new accounts, preparing estimates, and servicing established customers.

Precision Walls, Inc. has promoted Terry Osborne to General Manager of the new Nashville, TN branch. Terry, who joined Precision Walls five years ago as an estimator/project manager, brings more than fourteen years of industry experience to the position.

In her new role as Administrative Assistant, Susan Lewis will be responsible for coordinating day to day activities and providing a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the Wilmington branch. As the Account Executive for the Wilmington branch, Watson Snider will focus on developing and maintaining customer relations for the Wilmington office covering the territory from Swansboro NC to Murrells Inlet SC.
